Privacy Policy

The short version: your photos, voice recordings and work samples are used to create a fingerprint of your likeness. The fingerprint, your license terms and your wallet address go on-chain, where they are public and permanent. Your original files are never published, and we don’t sell your data.
Who we are
arvel is operated by arvel LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“arvel”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the website at arvel.world and the arvel likeness registry. Questions go to hello@arvel.world.
What we collect
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you joined. We use it only to tell you when registration opens and to send arvel updates. Ask us and we’ll remove it.
- Wallet address. Used to tie your arvel record, license terms and payments to you.
- Likeness samples. The photos, voice recordings and examples of your work you upload so we can create your fingerprint.
- License terms. What can be used, who can use it, for what, and at what rate.
- Reports. Links you submit as possible unlicensed copies, and the wallet that should receive any $arvel reward.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email, including your email address.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address and browser type when you load the site.
What goes on-chain
Your fingerprint, your license terms, your wallet address and records of licensed uses and confirmed reports are written to a public blockchain. Anyone can read them, and they cannot be edited or deleted by us or by you. Your original photos, recordings and files are not written on-chain.
How we use your data
- To create and maintain your arvel record and fingerprint.
- To match reported content against registered likenesses.
- To route license fees to your wallet and $arvel rewards to reporters.
- To prevent fraud, including people trying to register someone else’s likeness.
- To answer your messages.
How long we keep it
We keep your likeness samples only as long as we need them to create or refresh your fingerprint and to handle disputes about your record. You can ask us to delete your off-chain data at any time. On-chain data stays on the blockchain permanently.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run arvel (such as Vercel, which hosts this site and stores waitlist emails), under confidentiality obligations, and when the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading the site doesn’t send your IP address to Google or any other font service.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the off-chain data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@arvel.world and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
You must be at least 18 to register a likeness on arvel. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce material changes on @arvel_world.
